the actual Valkyrie Program was not a plot to kill Hitler ...
{ it was originally designed as a fail-safe program ,
to keep slaves from revolting ,
and was actually approved by Hitler himself } .

That was actually one of the most important points in the movie. Maybe if you went and watched it instead of judging it solely on the title...

i'm not judging the movie at all ,
...unless you think my saying
" skip the movie , read about it instead ..." , is a judgement .

i simply think the reading of historic fact
is much more interesting , imo , ymmv , etc.

i said i'll wait for the video to come out .
... reading is fun , try it !!

ok, IconBasser's opinion:

Best movie I've seen all year. I thought it was absolutely fantastic! I could not find a single thing to complain about, even Tom Cruise was pretty good .

The plot was always suspenseful, and they didn't ruin it with a bunch of pointless battle scenes, which was a pleasant surprise.

the ending was VERY poignant, I was choked up. All in all, it was GREAT. SEE IT!!!

Oh, I absolutely agree that the actual historical account is much more interesting. I wrote a research paper on this story just last year. The movie was entertaining though. Totally historically accurate? Of course not. But what do you expect from Hollywood?
