You should all know that Lee did a great job on the first video we shot for the Fusion 5 also.
The only reason I could not use much of that is we had the Bass Amp running a bit on the hot side and we had some audio overload on the video.
I hope to have the other 2 product videos updated soon.

Just a word about the amp used in the demos. It was just a little Fender B-DEC, set to a clean model. I turned off the effects, and the internal compressor. The amp settings were the same for all the demos. Nothing was tweaked to make the basses sound different.

Very cool vidz. I like that there's some honesty in there too, its not just your typical fluff from a company's PR folks. And great job showing a variety of styles! Hearing the pick stuff and the beatles lick helped me imagine how I'd actually hear this thing in my own hands, rather than like 5 minutes of unadulterated slap-mania. But it was good to hear a little of EACH style, to get a feel for the instrument as a whole. Great work!

Thank you! I think the Swing is a really nice Jazz 4. Does all the stuff a 4string J should do, and looks, plays, and sounds great doing it. I am not much of a slapper, so I wasn't going to flood the vids with nothing but that. I hope to do the videos with the new bass, as well as the updated other stuff. Amps, different models, etc.

What about the Spider resonator bass - will it stand against an acoustic guitar without amplification?
The Spider bass has a volume which can support a 3 people (guit + guit + spider) acoustic trio unplugged

Ya, I agree, I already copped that little sweep, slap thing u do in the demos. The way and what you played is what I like a lot about these.
Don't be stealing my tricks! That is my poor man's version of the double slap then pop two strings thing that real players like Wooten pull off without batting an eye. I call it the "slap through"

One thing I want to point out is that the amp settings stayed the same for the whole demo. Not only for all three (hey mike! Where is the Super-B??) basses, but also during each bass's demo. I go from finger, to slap, to pick without touching a thing. I think the fact that the basses were able to do all that without a "wait, let me dial in my slap tone" and deliver usable "different technique" tones is something worth noting.
The white fussion 5 tort guard would be a nice Christmas present to myself if they ever become available on their site.
