Valveamp Bass from the ad up top ^

Man, I was most excited to hear the SuperB, but I found that I actually preferred the other two. I currently have a P/H setup, much like the Fusion. The SuperB seemed really interesting by employing both pickups into one, but I really prefer the actual P+H setup of the Fusion (and my bass) instead. The swing sounded pretty bitchen too, though.

I'm loving the Swing bass. Has that zingy, gritty growl that I look for in a bass. If the neck is close to the profile of a Geddy it will be a real winner. I would love to A/B the Swing with my Geddy.

Great reviews! Since we can't just walk into a local store and give these a try, it's nice to be able to get an unbiased video review with raw sound without any effects or doctoring.

thanks for the bass advise guys, I think I found a compromise for the bass sounds i want/need for my own side projects ......

I told you I like the finger style tone better, but must use a pick.

I just discovered WEDGIE 3.1 mm Hard Rubber Picks.

Pretty amazing .... They ALMOST sound exactly like a finger hitting the string
That and some flatwound strings, action set at about 1/16" and a bit of extra EQ at 850hz and 3K and CLANK- CLANK .... Sounds just like Iron Maiden - Powerslave.

Oh yeah

Ah, sorry I missed the fact you need to use a pick, another option to try sometime,

Its a rubber pick as well, but you can adjust how stiff it is, by inserting different picks inside the rubber. I have one and it sounds very close to fingerstyle too.

Glad to hear you have the sound you're after.

Looking ahead to 2010, what models do most of you have a SERIOUS interest in so to be sure I have sufficient quantity on order for 2010 ?

Thanks
Mike Spitzer

I'd say both Exlusive models are intriguing.
As for Tuscany, I'd say the Fusion olympic white, Silverado amber burst or natural, Swing white, and possibly the Bird white.
I look forward to seeing more from the Frudua line as well.
