Mike, any chance we'll see these instruments at Winter NAMM?

I will not be doing NAMM with these products.

NAMM is normally an industry vehicle for manufacturers to show new products and network with dealers, distributors and stores.

Since I am selling direct to the end consumer, the only people I would run into at NAMM would be competitors. (well there would be a few artists and others I would meet, but 99% of the crowd would be other manufacturers)

For example, several companies like Cort and others are already following our Twitter and Facebook pages to keep track of what we are doing with Frudua-Italy & Valve Amp USA.

Hey gang, my apologies for all pick playing in the Fusion 5 demo ...... ever since I tore ligments in my hand 2 years ago (and spent six months with my right hand in a brace), I rarely finger pick guitar, much less bass anymore.

My right hand never healed back 100%, so I even had to modify my picking technique for electric guitar somewhat.

If any of you happen to be located near South Florida, perhaps we can arrange for you to drive down one day, shoot demos for all the Tuscany & Exlusive bass models and compensate you with a free bass product ?

Just a thought.

I for one appreciate a clip with some pickstyle! Though as a full-time pick player, I understand why all the fingerstyle or slap guys would want to hear their requisite styles demo'd... I can't tell you how frustrating it is when I see a new bass and the only sound clips I can find are some slap maniac going nuts with the funk... does me no good at all (I'm lookin at you, G&L website!). Personally I think showing a bit of each style, and a few different musical styles, is key (like the exhaustive Lakland sound clips).

But I'll hand it to you, all the attention to detail on the website, twitter, youtube, talkbass, etc really makes a difference, and I think we all appreciate it.

Definitely a top notch effort overall.

The pick playing is, as was mentioned, a lot nicer than the usual slap mayhem that most demos use!

I think all it is gonna take is a positive review by a member on here and these will start selling like nobody's business.

So, somebody with more money than me buy one already!

Would you be comfortable with both pick and finger/slap techniques in the demos to cover the full range of interests and preferences covering the scope of bass players ?

By my own admission, I personally am not a bass player.

I am guilty of being one of those guitarists who only pulls a bass out 1-2 times per year when recording a song and no real bass players are available to lay down the backing tracks with the drummer.

So my technique is a bit sloppy as evidenced by the ocassional fret rattle in my demos.
(this Fusion 5 demo was the first I had picked up a bass in almost a year) ........ Arrghhh !

A real dedicated bass player who plays regularly would do the products more justice for sure.

I would advise getting in touch with TB Mod Gard, He lived in the Orlando area. He worked for Bass Central, and knows alot of VERY capable bassists in Florida. Don't know if he would consider it a conflict of interest, working for Roscoe, but he is a good and fair guy. He should be able to point you in the right direction.

As an aside, any chance of an ebony board fretless in the future? Lots of folks are playing fretless 5's now, and these are a good price. How about it?

How does "push/pull series/parallel" split the front 2 coils and only take the upper half of one and the lower half of the other like shown in the diagram?

As i see it, one push pull activates the "p" pup, and one activates the south third only.

You understand correctly. These were the ones which sounded best and which we choose among all possibilities the pickup offers. All other combinations are possible but only by using more complicated inner circuitry which we disregarded.

Forgive me if I'm a little thick today. I've had a couple of nights this week with VERY little sleep due to family emergencies.

So if I'm reading this correctly, #4 is the list above (the 3 tone burst) is the ONLY one where you could get a rosewood board?
