Valveamp Bass from the ad up top ^

Hello, this is Michael Spitzer.

We have decided to make some business changes for 2010.

The Italian guitars and amplifiers we have previously been importing and selling in the USA will soon be sold here in North America thru another distributor and dealer.

This includes all makes and models of THE VALVE, VIBE, FRUDUA, TUSCANY & EXLUSIVE products.

It is our feeling that these are very good products with unique features.

We feel a larger established Music Retailer who already sells a wide range of products in the USA will be better able to promote these great brands.

This will also allow us to pursue other business interests with full focus and intensity.

Given the considerable amount of "buzz" and "good will" that was cropping up here for these basses, I sincerely hope the new distributor is someone who will have a presence here on TB.
It was really cool that both the European manufacturer and the US sales person were both TB members. It gave us a pretty unique conduit to the company itself.

I for one would hate to see this situation fizzle out before it could really bloom.

The statement is confusing.

Appears as though Valveamp is not selling the items in this thread in the future? (Reading between the lines I'd assume the Italian source cut a deal with a larger mass merchant and Valveamp no longer reps the products)

So what's on the website and in stock is merely a closeout of current stock before someone else starts selling the products in 2009?

I've been following this thread for a while and fully intended on getting a Swing Bass early in the year.

I'm sorry to read that things haven't worked out with Frudua and Valveamp USA and really appreciate the time Mike and Mr. Frudua have spent in this thread. Basiklee's youtube video was the clincher.

I feel somewhat like a vulture picking at the bones, but I placed an order, at the insanely discounted price, for a burst Swing bass today. I was going to do it mid January anyway.

I will try to clarify a few things. First off, if you end up with the 'burst Swing that I played in the video, it is a VERY nice bass. Set up by yours truly, to play like I like.

Second, from what Mike has told me, he really just wanted to pursue a different avenue, and had been trying to come to a decision about what to do for a while. There is no bad blood between these guys.

These lines will soon be available again in the states. I will have the videos I shot with Mike in the next week or so. I will put them on youtube. There may be more with me, there may not. I have been talking with Frudua lots lately, exchanging several emails a day for about a week prior to this recent development, mostly about doing more videos for them. Clearly, as of late, the topic of said emails has shifted a tad.

I have no "announcement" to make about anything. There is currently nothing "in the works". Just two guys who are passionate about music, exchanging ideas.

If any of you have any questions about the new basses, or whatever, PM me. I will share what I can, and not share what I can't.

Thank you all for your continued interest in these lines.

Lee, "just a regular guy"

I just pulled the trigger on a white Swing Bass for a mere $315.00! I can't wait for the delivery driver! If you've been thinking about getting something from Mike, the prices are low right now!

Yeah, I think you may have gotten the last one to. :( I didnt have the cash to go for one the last month or so. I was digging around looking for things to get rid of even. That bass had every little feature I was looking for in a jazz to.

If you find that its not really your thing you know who to PM
