Valveamp Bass from the ad up top ^

To any of you guys that have purchased the clearance basses from Mike: If you have any issues, questions, or anything, get in touch with me either here or via [email protected], or my cell, 386 307 0182. Frudua is being very good about service after the fact. That said, they are across the pond. I am stepping in and stepping up to facilitate a smooth transition at the very least. Maybe more than that, maybe not. We'll have to see what is in the cards.

My Burst Fusion 5 showed up yesterday and all I can say is WOW. This is one beautiful Bass. The fit and finish is second to none. The neck is awesome not too fat not too thin. I have had problems playing 5ers in the past but this one just feels right Very easy to play and the sound if you can think of it it is in there Pull the coil tap switch and you get thunder. But solo the bridge pickup and you get great clean clear ringing piano like tones also it does a pretty mean P-Bass imitation and a decent Jazz tone. I can't think of any sound it can't do except total mud. I can't wait for them to find another American distributor I would not hesitate buying another one from them.

Hi,

Any chance of you considering dealers here in Germany? I think you'd give Sandberg and their fine PMs a run for their money. :)

I'd love to try out one of your basses.

Mike Spitzer sent me the disc of the demo videos we shot. They are the raw video, no edits. I will get them up again soon. I am in daily talks with Frudua about getting these basses back on this side of the pond ASAP. I am sorry Mike dropped the ball. I would like to see these back over here while the buzz is still warm.

i got my SuperB 5 christmas eve
wow this is a really sweet bass
the p bass tone is fantastic and does the MM tone very well too
tone wise this bass is very versatile
the neck is very playable
similar to a p bass neck but not as thick and very smooth

only knock on the bass is the neck dive
but i would still highly recommend the bass and buy it again
neck dive or not it is still an awesome bass
couldn't be happier

i think this will replace my fender mia std jazz as my primary

Hey guys glad you liked the basses. I am in continous contact with Lee to find a convenient and easy way to provide him with the basses. We came out with some really cool marketing ideas which we are now refining. I'll keep you informed.

Also if you know any company shooting great videos at convenient prices there e please advise me asap.

Looking for something very professional like proguitar.com

I am considering sending Lee al the bass amplification and basses stuff so you can both test it all together and he can also make some of his fantastic videos.

Thanks a lot Lee for supporting in the meantime. :)

Anything please write me PM.

It's here. The Frudua Tuscany Swing Bass I bought on clearance arrived in perfect condition this evening. It was packed well but not overpacked. box in a box, inner box surrounded by newspaper. I think this may be the one Lee played in the demo.

It's buzzing on all 4 strings like a nest full of angry hornets. I tuned it, and it didn't go away much. I suspect it's due to the massive temperature difference it's been subjected to in it's cross country journey from Florida to California. How many blizzards and storms have there been in the last 2 weeks?

The neck has a slight back bow to it. I'm going to let it settle for a couple days before I try any adjustments, and I'm confident that it will fall right in to place once it's settled. The fit and finish are excellent. The neck itself feels awesome. It feels as or even more comfortable than my MIM Deluxe Active Jazz, the most comfortable player I have.

The burst is very pretty, a little more vibrant than the SX bursts I have, (these pix aren't doing it any favors) and the inlays and binding are gorgeous. There is some really nice figuring on the headstock and the back of the neck. It's exactly what I expected. the tone, aside from the buzzing is clear and punchy.

Sorry for the cruddy lighting in these pix, the only overhead light here is a ceiling fan. I'll post some more in better natural light tomorrow if I have a chance. I'll also try and get some sound files up, but I may not be able to before I leave Saturday. I'll be back after the 12th and will definately do some then.

Received my SuperB yesterday. Extremely well packaged, double boxed with outer box stuffed with newspaper. The bass was in a foam bag and well protected by cardboard. OK, what about the set-up? Out of the box, probably the best I've ever seen, if you really like super low action. First fret buzz was adjusted this morning with a slight loosening of the trussrod. Very easy access to make the neck adjustment. Two of the four pots were loose, removed all knobs and tightned slightly. The bass was almost in tune out of the box. The sound.....awsome, great P bass with the first set of coils, nice sound with the bottom two sets also, series and parallel. Surprisingly nice with all coils full up. I have never owned an active bass so I can't comment much on the preamp except to say it is adequate, both boost and cut. The routing is good, neck fit is very tight. The battery compartment is small and has a secure wired harness connection to the bass. The neck feels superb and the fretboard is thick and beautiful Indian Rosewood with abalone looking fret markers. It does have some noticeable neck dive if you are use to a double cut bass. It is not by any means severe and offers a really nice playing position on the strap. B string is solid....comes with Dad strings.

To sum it up....this is a great, refreshing and new bass design and a very worthy instrument, especially at the closeout pricing. I hope someone steps up and brings these to the US market.

Thought I might add that I have removed the pickguard. The finish under the guard is complete with no machine holes or fittings. Routing is very good. The control cavity is painted with conductive paint and there is a ground wire going to a screw in the side of the cavity. The pots are small but adequate and the wiring is solid. The 2 band preamp has a sticker on it saying Crystal Sound Co. but no model numbers.
