I rallied 20 friends to pitch in and buy an Eruption guitar for my guitarist as a surprise X-mas gift. When I received the Eruption, it did not have the correct "locking" tuners as described on the website.

The Eruption is equipped with a set of new Frudua locking tuners. Frudua locking tuners gathers all the most high end locking tuners features in the market all in just one item. 20:1 gear ratio, comfortable and immediate to use rear locking design and 2+2+2 staggered height posts, meaning that the E and B posts are lower than the G and D posts which are lower than the A and low E posts. This allows the proper nut angle and lowest friction on nut. They are also available for you as a replacement part for your guitar.
Here are the actual tuners:
These tuners go out-of-tune every time my guitarist uses the whammy bar, which came with the instrument as stock. Since this is one of the
major features of this instrument (which is
highly detailed and emphasized through several pictures and descriptions on the site), I figured I'd send an email to Frudua to get this straightened out. But the Exlusive team ignored my emails and evaded contact with me, sometimes waiting for months before responding to my emails.
Well after
much chasing, they
finally got back to me and say that
I have to pay ~$100 for the
correct tuners as
advertised on the site. If I had to rally a ton of friends to help buy the guitar, how am I going to afford another $100 on top of that?
I would definitely
not do business with Exlusive again. Apparently their brand is too "exlusive" to help out their paying customers. Be wary, because they will
not help you in the event of a faulty instrument or part. If you receive service comparable to that which I have received, you will simply be blown off or given the "run-around."
Good luck. I hope they don't screw you over.
