Mike, question for you:
That Exclusive model with the huge triple-pickup and the short top horn, was there a reason for the short top horn? Is that something you might consider modifying (to be longer, for good balance) in the future? I know it looks cool, but that's one area where poor ergonomics trump good looks, for me as a consumer. Thanks for your attention here!

Hello gang,

To answer your questions above ....

The design for the headstocks were all done by luthier Galeazzo Frudua based on the models he has sold in Europe over the past 15+ years.

Speaking of FRUDUA.
There is not much on our site yet, but the FRUDUA brand is our next step up beyond EXLUSIVE and will include a different line of Basses and 300+ w Bass amps ....

The Exlusive Fusion bass and the Frudua GFJ bass, cover the two "universes" of bass players with the Exlusive Fusion covering the rock part of them (Precision + Music man) and the GFJ covering al the rest of jazz bass oriented players (with the option of a fuller tone thanks to the matched pickup at bridge).

The Frudua GFJ Bass will be made in the following colors and also in 4 strings versions

- alder body solid white, pearloid pickguard, maple neck and fretboard with white binding and pearl blocks
- alder solid Black with black pickguard, gloss maple neck with gloss maple fretboard with white bindings and pearl blocks, chrome hardware
- alder 3 tone burst, tortoise pickguard, maple neck and fretboard with white binding and pearl blocks,
- alder 3 tone burst, tortoise pickguard, maple neck and indian rosewood fretboard with white binding and pearl blocks,

Also know that we will supply a replacement pickguard of a different colour so everyone can customize the look according to his tastes.

For example the alder body solid white, pearloid pickguard, maple neck and fretboard with white binding and pearl blocks, will be supplied with a replacement tortoise pickguard.

Please also know we will make 4 & 5 string versions

well that mad that easier AND harder. thanks :D im seriously a Fender guy. ive gotten rid of stingrays, spectors, gibsons..all going back to Fender. i dont get excited about too much outside the fender brand but i also have the issue that fender down right refuses to do things i very much want like block inlay 5 stringers and keep jacking up their prices. this is the first time in a while ive gotten excited about stuff outside the fender fold

Those basses look VERY nice. If I had the scratch, I'd get a Fusion-5 in white today, and then the GFJ when it comes out. I have spoken with Michael a bit. He's got no numbers on that one at this time. Looks VERY nice!
