I'm a finish carpenter, and just did some work that made me think it would look great on a guitar. It was BLEACHED, quilted maple (bookmatch, A3-4 quality), with pommel sapele accent (A2). Looks like clouds with flame. Absolutely insane, and I wish I took a pic. Just figured I'd throw the idea out there, as I will never find the time to do it
