Justin, do you have any thoughts about the vintage Versatone Pan-O-Flex bass amps? (Not the guitar amp version with reverb and tremolo.). Versatone - Wikipedia
Dan Schwartz (RIP) loved and recorded with these amps. And, of course, Jack Casady and Carole Kaye.

Have you owned, played through them or recorded with them? It seems like a vintage amp you would like.

Never f'ed with one! Would like to someday.

Used one on a session up at Sound City once and liked it just fine, but it didn't incite a "MUST HAVE ONE IMMEDIATELY" sort of response in me. Was kinda neutral, tubey, warm, and certainly good. They certainly look rad. If one was ever offered up, I'll admit that in spite of having far, far too many amps I'd probably not be able to resist.
