VFE Woodchipper

I ordered mine as well this morning. I first sent an email to Peter confirming that it was a v2 and not an old leftover v1 stock or anything, the price was THAT surprising :)

Great thing is that I had just sold a pedal and a paypal balance ;)

Wow. That is a great price! I had credit leftover from a contest I won a while back, so I hadn't seen the intro price.

It's hard to beat. And it's a special small run with a different finish and different knobs, usually those things are more expensive with other builders :) If I like it, I'll have to get serious about flipping another fuzz however :)

I was afraid you'd say that. :)

Seriously though, Gregmon likes his. I have wanted a Brassmaster based fuzz for a while. And, when gregmon started talking about it and I saw that the v2 would have the two band eq with knobs and that low pass blend, I figured it would b a great pedal.

I like the idea of having an EQ option in dirt like this, just like the BB. Honestly, I waited so long that I started doubting I really wanted to get it anymore. But, now, with the pre-order price, it's hard to say no. And, hey, at the intro price, my guess is that you would at least break even if you flip it.

Definitely want EQ on all future dirt pedals, it makes a big difference in useability in my opinion. The huge size of that other Brassmaster derivative has disqualified it for me, this one is nicer ... just think if it had top mounted jacks too, though I suspect that is not possible.

Those green knobs on the Woodchipper would have to go though ... :)
