Vibrations bad for dislocated ankle ?

Hi guys

You might find the title odd & rightfully so. Thing is i had a motorcycle accident a while ago, resulting in a dislocated ankle, thank goodness put back in place with no need for surgery, am doing my physio & recovering..

As i like to play the bass loud-er at home practicing, not harmful ear melting loud but still.. loud enough to keep up with a ''energetic'' drummer friend i play with.. headphones being a bit limited i thought about buying an Eich Bassboard, this way i could avoid spending a fortune properly isolating my place/bothering everybody around AND still get that nice, punchy lush bass tones tingling my body.. ;-)

Problem is i recalled a friend who had the same type of trauma years ago being told not to use those vibrating platforms at his gym as it could be detrimental in the long run. Since the Eich Bassboard = vibrations & gym WBV's = vibrations.. it occurred to me if the Bassboard could be detrimental as well ? Or not ?
I tried to gather as much info on the subject as possible & found ... very little/disperse/contradictory claims !? From both sides..
Obviously vibrating gym machine manufacturers swear by it, WBV therapy has many adepts, it IS used helping athletes to recover - a dubious ''endorsement'' per se to me as it's well known athletes WILL do untold things to their bodies to be back in the field ASAP sometimes knowing full well the consequences. Sometimes.....
And specification or how exactly the machines function is not information really available.

As i have no clue if both ''systems'' work along the same base principles, amplitude of vibrations, frequencies,vertical/horizontal/does it matter, which frequencies are/aren't to avoid, how long, how intense, sitting or standing... so many questions remain unanswered

I wrote to Eich Amplification asking for help in this & so far...
Legal fears in the machine's cogs ?
Possibly, no point dwelling on it as all i need is a straight answer not a future scapegoat to sue.
Still, that being potentially an issue within any country's legal context, OBVIOUSLY i relieve anyone answering from ANY consequence i might suffer now or in the future resulting from from my decision to buy it & use it or not.. even those affiliated with manufacturers of equivalent equipment, etc, etc & etc..

I realize it's a bit of a stretch posting/asking this here but most of you being professionals in all walks of music, i was hoping someone might have had a conversation about this with maybe a surgeon, an orthopedist ? Heard about other fellow musos who went through the same & who counseled them, etc.. ?
Any help shedding some light on this subject would be fantastic as i REALLY love playing the bass louder/save 6 or 8k € in labor/materials insulating + the 2 weeks until all ready mayhem but... i DEFINITELY rather walk without a limp or pain for the rest of my life is a Bassboard could potentially do me harm - even if that means spending a small fortune to isolate my place to be able to play the way i like.

Thanks for reading, any advice, link to, anything... will be greatly appreciated !

Nuno
