Victor Wooten on Conan O'Brien Tonght

Thanks for the info and posting this. I WILL be watching.

I also agree that Victor's solo stuff is cool but not my cup of tea. However, when he plays with the Flecktones and I hear Bela Fleck and Jeff Coffin playing it's a whole different realm for me. The band as a whole is phenomenal IMO, even Future Man, although I love real drums better.
 
Agreed! Very appropriate with Christmas only 3 days away. Jeff Coffin was whaling on that soprano sax! Wooten played well but I am sometimes bothered by his fretbuzz on his basses. I know it is nice to have your strings that low...but I can't stand to hear the buzz. Great show!
 
if you dont like wooten or the flecktones, then why the hell did you pollute the thread?

I've never been a big Victor fan, but I gotta say I enjoy his work with the Flecktones. What he's done for the bass in the past few years will probably prove more than what any of us will accomplish combined. His taste and tone are exactly that, his, you don't like it- don't watch it.
