im digging the stingray copy...

from some reading, doesnt look like they are made with super high quality parts.

could they rival SX?

At ~300 uk pounds, I don't see how these compare to sx value. Those are more like MIM Fender price points, at best.

I could not listen to more then 20 seconds of those clippy harmonics that they guy was playing...(Sorry just not my thing).

However in hindsight it did not sound that bad.

Vintage guitars and basses have been around in the UK for as long as i can remember (i'm 27), i think in recent years they have drastically improved in quality and have looked to expand their place in the market from just being budget beginner basses to having a selection of instruments that will appeal to more seasoned players aswell.

I've tried a couple of their basses and been pretty impressed with what you get for the price tag.
