Volume pedal?

Greetings Justin. I searched for an answer to this question in my "go to" forum, this one, but couldn't find it. I'm setting up a pedal board. Albeit simple one, with just 5 effects and a tuner pedal. I'm curios what you're thoughts were on using a volume pedal with a tuner side chain out as opposed to just using the tuner as the mute and at the start of the board?

Thanks in advance.

I like volume pedal as first one. I use visual Sounds Visual Volume. It has tuner output so you can mute signal while tuning and then tuner doesn't have to be in signal chain. One thing I really like in vp is that for example when using different distortions, od's or some else effects, you can control the volume really precise, so all the sounds are at same level.
