I use a passive Boss FV-50 H, it's made of some sort of plastic, but I'm happy with it, and it dosn't suck tone like my active Yamaha did. There's a tuner out and an adjustable knop for lowest position level.

Visual Sound Visual Volume. Lots more under the hood and much more versatile than just an EP VPjr (which I sold for the VV).

It's a shame that I find it ugly as all hell.

I use Ernie Ball like many others... be warned, the tuner out halves your impedance if you're using it. If your tuner has a bypass option, just don't use the tuner out on the VP and voila!

Compared to the VP Jr, I think it's just fine. Especially since my foot's on it most of the time, I don't notice it that much. The LEDs though make it easy to justify needing this one; consistently moving your volume is nice.

I own a Fender with the capabilty of being in active or passive mode. Does this affect the Ernie Ball Volum Pedal I need to get? I think one is made for active and the other for passive, and if so, I'm in a predicament.. Help Please

The old one was so nice looking. This one looks like one of the old molded Digitech or Zoom pedals except worse. Just really not my cup o' tea. The LEDs are a great idea, though...

i just got the Boss FV500L. it works fine with my active/passive bass.
