Waffles!

Step 1: Make a batch of falafel batter/dough/paste/whatever you call it.

Step 2: Pre-heat waffle iron to just about rocket hot.

Step 3: Make falafel in the waffle iron so that the outside of them is crispy, but the inside remains moist. (admittedly a tricky balance)

Step 4: Consume.

I dont know, thats just falafel in the shape of a waffle. Falafel should already be crispy outside and moist/soft inside.
I think if you really want to make a wafflafel you should take the falafel, and wrap it in a waffle. Add hummus, tzatziki, and spinach!

PB&J between two eggo waffles are the bomb as far as late night snacks go IMO. Plain waffles for this concoction is good, but one blueberry and one chocolate really brings it to life.

I need to get a waffle iron sometime and experiment with breakfast foods.

It IS just a waffle shaped falafel. But that was the whole point. I couldn't find any with enough crunchy surface area. Most are round and kind of mushy inside, like failed hushpuppies. But waffles have LOTS of surface area to be crunchy. And it was best while topped with babaghanoush. Or actually dipped in it.

This morning, my fantastic wife made blueberry waffles with strawberries and more blueberries on top-with really good bacon on the side.

Edit: Tried to attach a picture from my phone multiple times, didn't work. Stupid app.
