Waiting for a new bass is hard

So I ordered a warwick thumb pro from gc , used 599 , the wait is almost over. Should be here tomorrow.

This has been way harder than waiting for my other basses.

I had gas , then I farted.

Yeah, I ordered one from GC in Austin, TX last week. Luckily it was only a 2 day wait! Nothing like obsessively checking the shipping status every hour to see where your bass is on it's journey. I like when it says, "Out For Delivery"!

A couple of years ago I had purchased a used alembic Europa that was " out for delivery" on a Fedex truck after about a one week wait. I was at work and got the email notification that the package had been delivered and signed for by the shipping manager. When I got back to shipping the bass wasn't there. He had signed for five packages and only taking delivery of four. It was a very nerve racking 3 to 4 hours with many frantic phone calls, but the bass finally did get delivered.

Waiting for a new bass is nerve wracking for me because lately it seems like every bass I buy has something wrong with it. I think the universe is telling me something.

Have one on a FedEx truck right now but i'm on a plane going the other direction tomorrow. It should get delivered to work on Thu, and I fly back in around midnight Thu. Work is on the way home from the airport so I'll get the first glance then. And if I can stay up for a bit at 3AM EST, then I'll wake the neighbors...
