Sorry, may have not been specific enough:
Wal Mk2s fit into the newer (slightly larger) EBMM hard shell cases (made by SKB) as used since about 2005. I think they were enlarged to also provide space for the Bongo. These newer cases have a symmetrical inner mould, which could also work for the Mk1 body shape.

Tried 2 different cases with the MKI/MKII/MKIII
-2001 EB (one that came with my 5'er StingRay)
-Gator Case (generic)
None of the 3 fit very well in the EB. The MKI did fit in the Gator but seemed to have a little too much room to slide around. The MKII and MKIII fit pretty good on the Gator case (pics below is Gator)

Really nice, I'd be all over it if it weren't a 5 string.
If you go through the ebay completed listings, it seems anything listed this summer sold very quickly.
Wow lots of activity here!!! been M I A lately with work and fam. got a new roof installed in the house and had new tenants move in, so life is crazy!!! just wanted to drop a line =)
seems to be the trend....surprised this one didn't have a crazy BIN price. some of the older listings seemed like it just ended early since sellers were given offers outside ebay
