12-17 months? that's awesome. for a while it was up to 19 months. just know that as SOON as you put in a deposit with Paul, a used one will pop up at a good price, that's the way it works.

as for finding a used Wal before that time, just hang out in this thread. we seem to watch out for each other and post interesting stuff when it goes for sale.

To find a good used Wal bass is a "Solitarie Card Game" , they are always popping up on net and we all know this... but if you are in search for a specific model / finish , my advice is to wait for 19 months and custom order one ! In the meantime listen to some 80's Rush Records or Tool songs.... relax, breath and dream about your new bass !

PS : My dream was to have a MKII in Flamed maple, I preferred to buy an used one than wait. As you know, I bought the beautiful Vegas's MKII 4 and I do not have any regrets about this.

My friend was told 18 months for a new Wal.
He received it 22 months later.
Your going to wait, but it's worth it.

got my mkI back with the fret job. super clean work with the OEM fret wire provided by Paul. plays great amazing!
