Yes I did
I even was able to beat down the seller to a more reasonable price. Though the MKIII has some issues, I still think the deal was quite fair. ATM I am waiting for Paul to answer my mail as I'd like to pay him a visit, hand over my Wal for maintenance, repair & overhaul and check myself standard necks of a MKII 4 string

Silly cool! And that single pickup is all you really need for the fretless... but that price is steep!
