The screws are available from Paul directly, a complete set is 10.50 bp. They are not metric or standard thread pitch,they may be mil spec or custom. I wouldn't try anything else as you risk damaging the threaded insert.

Hey guys, random question.......would anybody happen to have a used fretted 5 string Wal neck MK2 Model available?
I've thrown up an ad in the Wanted section too.

Looking for an ebony fretboard if possible, but will look at others.

Hi guys. Does anyone know where I can get a circuit board similar to ones used in a wal to combine the pickup coils?

Not the preamp but the board that each 'humbucker' feeds into that combines each string before sending to the preamp?

Unfortunately the only way to get Wal electronics is to buy a whole bass! Lol

To even get your circuit board fixed/replaced, you have to send to Wal directly

+1 on this!!! I think someone mentioned previously that it seems silly to order just a couple screws for the bass, but why risk damaging the insert? It is a bit inconvenient to order these special sized screws through Wal, but to me at least, it seems sillier not to - especially on a bass that costs a good amount.

Paul can be a little slow to answer emails sometimes ,but the set is 10.50 british sterling plus shipping.He will accept Pay Pal but asks that you assume the fee , which on a few sets of screws shouldn't be a lot.

I thought that might be the case. Thanks. Anyone have any idea what a component like this is even called?

I know acg also makes one for their bases. I don't need a wal specific one just something that will combine 10 wires to one output

While you're at it order yourself a T-shirt! *edit* whatever size you wear, get the next larger size!
Also (just from experience) take a good look at your bridge height adjustment screws. Several of mine had been rounded out by previous owners using the wrong allen key. Any look suspect, just order some. Maybe also a proper allen screwdriver.

You can order a set of tools from Paul as well, they didn't cost me much. Also if you do order a tshirt, get a size bigger, they're way small.
