Nothing out of the norm there. Those 'finalized production design' pickup covers with the faux grain are correct.
The 5 string 80's covers were different.
If this is a deal breaker for anyone PM me and we'll discuss buying you out of your spot in line.

I found PayPal far more convenient than the bank transfer process which is more time consuming, has fees on the front end to me, plus fees on the back end that are opaque to me,

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know about how many Wals/mo. Paul produces, and whether or not he works on them full-time? And please tell me to silence, if this really is a dirty question. 
Don't know the number but my guess is counting involves fingers but not toes. I'm not sure how you want to define full-time, but building Wal's is Paul's main thing. Whether the time card leans toward a French-style or American-style number of hours would be speculation. Personally I'd rather he spend 30 hours than 70 per week working on basses. He also does enlist help from time to time on work that can be pieced out. He'd like to get more help, but also wants to keep quality up to Wal standards which is not an easy problem to solve.Just out of curiosity, does anyone know about how many Wals/mo. Anyone know the street price for a Wal MK3 and how long is the wait to get one? I've left several messages to Wal with no success in hearing back from them.
