Wal Bass Club.

Hey everybody. I have been a happy Wal owner for 2 years now and I have loved it. HOWEVER, some recent things have come up in my life that are causing me to face the fact that it's not practical for me to own a bass that sells for nearly $7,000 brand new. It was great for awhile but I have some unexpected expenses to pay for, I need some new gear for a new band I started, car payments, 2nd baby on the way. The whole 9 yards. Sadly, I am facing the fact that it might be time for me to let my baby go.

Mike

hope you get what your looking for - congrats on your 2nd btw....i've been at the crossroads plenty of times, but been lucky enough not needing to off'ing a Wal. I actually have my 3rd baby on the way too....and i may be meeting someone today :hyper::woot:

I'm usually dimed on volume and tone with equal blend on pickups, and pots are usually popped out. But different passages in different tunes require less treble and attack so the volume pot might pop back down at times. But most of my tone shaping is done at my boss GT10-B.

^^meeting? :jawdrop:

NBD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now to just look at it while i work in my office :wacky:

on this note too....i think i solidified my Wal stable!!! no more GASing or playing with the idea of a new build...i'm DONE!!!

ima sucker for leds....back in my hay day loved them in cars too hahhahahha

anyhu, here's more porn for you guys....i'll put her on the scale when i get home, but she seems pretty light. it's a BEM with mahagony core sporting an ebony FB and maple neck.

definitlely don't think the seller gave me the right case for this - so if you bought a Mk I or Mk II and may have gotten a Mk III case (you can tell if the bass doesn't fit in it-being a bit too big), let me know and let's trade

**edit** case is definitely made specifically for a Mk II. so if by some lucky chance you have a Mk III case and you have a Mk II, let me know.

One surprising feature of my new MKI. I was unaware that the output jack was recessed such that it won't accept a 90 degree plug. Long story short this means getting a second transmitter for my wireless to avoid the hassle and wear and tear caused by swapping the cable on a single transmitter.

The nice part is that I'm now able to dedicate a strap and transmitter to the Wal and along with it comes the ability to utilize the gold Dunlop connectors that match the strap locks installed on the bass.

Just throwing a little trivia out there for no particular reason.
