So, even if you are looking in the UK for a Wal, I say the BEST way is the Paul Herman way... ;)

Sidenote on the dumbo tuners. If you search in YouTube for The Cranberries Paris, the bassist has a MkII with dumbo tuners.

That was a really nice MK-I.
I believe that the Haircut 100 story is true, although I learned about that after we parted ways.

I always jonesed for a Wal, and got that one to see if they were all that. They def are. But, as I've read, for an instrument at that price, it's best to hold out for the one you really desire. That one wasn't what I was after cosmetics-wise so I didn't have it long. But it sounds and plays killer.

Wow another price hike??? Growing increase in demand perhaps?? Has it been a year already when it increased from £3650 to £3850??? Wonder if option prices went up too, yikes!!!!
