I'm still learning...but noticed on the 80's boards, theres a few gray ceramic resistors with orange tips, I know Paul changes those to new blue ones, I believe simply for tone.
But the two electrolytic ones I pictured will totally stop a bass from working

Glad you've finally got it! The look of longing and anticipation when you were noodling on my MK 1 at the Bass Bash, was quite a picture. Now you've got lots of fun exploring the tone controls to find you favourite sweet spots! Enjoy!

Anybody in the "club" in the London area?
I can't get a good understanding of the actual
playability of the lefty Wenge Mark1 at The
Bass Gallery... Pics look fine but the neck, the
tone and ? are total mysteries...
Play it Hendrix style...???

I would email Paul and ask him to send you the correct screws. He has plenty of them laying around. The only reason I say this is because if you don't replace it with the exact correct screw, it will most likely de-value the instrument. You always want to use correct hardware on these instruments.

@spiritchaser I lost track which Wals you have other than the white Spanish cedar one. You definitely need to post an updated family pic :thumbsup:
