Thank you Caca de Kick and kulit17! I was the previous owner of both of those basses, and the unofficial West Coast rep for Wal for a time lol. The fiver was brought over by Pete to NAMM in 2001, so I had it exactly 15 years and it was the last time Pete was in the states I believe. It's a great Wal and I know it's in a good home, and with its former brother. If kulit is nice enough to let you guys hear the Green Monster, because (like I said to him) it's a beast. The five is no slouch either! It's interesting about Wals, we're are a small select group that is dedicated to the brand. I have met and dealt with a few owners and never had a negative experience. Again thank you Caca de Kick for facilitating the connection, again it was a great experience. I will check in here and there, because Wal Fever never goes away.

I found out that the front facing had separated (and had been repaired) by the output jacks and knobs, and there was several surface cracks that had been filled, I was concerned that it may happen again or get worse.

Very nice replacement. I'm trying to figure out the logistics to send my Pro back for service. I'm intimidated by the whole customs thing.

UPS is unorganized and faceless, it is a very difficult and seemingly impossible process to understand. I had to call UPS endlessly, and had to pay about $350 in duty fees which I am disputing and may get some back, the info that UPS wanted was the cost of the repair and the original cost of the bass, along with my SSN (why... I still have no idea...)
