Uh no GAS is rearing its ugly head again, I have always admired the Wal sound, now I'm
seriously considering having one built. Is the wait time still around 22 months? Also I would like to play one before I decide. I live within driving distance from Nashville, I know the Low End gets them every know and then, finally going to have to move some things before I make this happen, I'm guessing a five string Ebony Mk 3
Ebony board, high gloss finish is around ten thousand US. Lastly since I have never had the honor of playing a Wal can you adjust the action very low ? Iam used to playing Fodera's
any imput would be much appreciated.

I just placed another order last friday, my spec sheet quoted 22 months.
You have most of that tme to pay: £500 deposit, then £1000 payment in 5 months when he starts the neck. After that you can pay as you go, or wait til the end and pay it off, it up to you.
A Mk3 5 with custom gloss finish and ebony, do the conversion is about $8000, then figure another $1k to cover shipping and duty when it arrives.
The Low End hasnt gotten a Wal in years for retail sale, but I know he owns one of his own. No idea if he lets anyone play it.
Yes you can get low on one. I like doing my own setups and nut adjustment and take them down further than they come out of the box. So yes.....

Well to be fair (!) I sold my shedua 2009 Mk2 4 string to make this happen....can't afford to do this anymore!
It's just a replacement Mk2 same in a 4 string, but I want a gloss red finish and gold hardware on it.

it was recorded using two microphones and direct. little parallel drive added in the production phase and lower octave for the beginning riff as well. nothing special actually

Hi all, my first post here (even though I have been reading TB forums for years) and I need a number for my brand new baby! Here is a progress pic, since it will be completed and shipped early next month. This 4-string Mk2 features paduak (padouk) facings over mahogany core, ebony fretted fingerboard and x-tender tuner.

Given the current exchange rate, would it be prudent to pay in full when placing one's initial order? Will Wal allow that?
Yes you can. And since the beginning of the month when Kulit posted that at 1.31, the £ had dropped almost 9% then dipped back up a tiny bit. Its incredible how low the conversion is now. of course, who knows how long it will stay this low. Of course Paul will say it won't be built any faster.
My 5 string order from 20 months ago is almost done, and the exchange rate price right now is about 20% lower than when I first ordered it, glad I didnt pay it off then, I'm being rewared by paying it off at todays rate.
