Wal Bass Club.

That solo bass looper video is awesome. I’ve akways wanted to make the jump to 6 string basses but it scares me haha

i had a Wal 6er for about a year or so....tried not to get attached to it since it was a temporary ownership. it was a beast! @ercompa owns it now. that guy using the looper also has a fretless 6er (he's on basschat as camdenrob). i just added a comment to upload a vid playing that lol

maybe one day i'll do some....:bag:

That is a beauty for sure!
You should definitely do some videos man. YouTube needs more Wal hahaha

Does anyone happen to know the size and material of the standard "dot" fingerboard markers that Wal is using (on the face, not the side)? I have new-ish fretless Mk. 1 with fretlines but no other markers and am considering adding the dots for quicker reference when I cheat and look at the neck (which is often). Thank you.

they're just mother of pearl.

But I can't even see the fretboard dots when I'm playing mine. I'd have to hunch over a ways.

Mine measure at 6mm using my spiffy new digital vernier calipers.

hey guys, has anyone here ever had a new control cavity cover made for them? I emailed Paul about a replacement and he said they don’t just make “standard” ones because they may not be a perfect fit. He said I would send my current one in and they’d make me a new one and then send it back. Any idea on cost? I know he will get back to me with a cost but being Friday I figure I may not hear back until Monday. Just wondering if any of you guys have done it or had an idea of cost.

wow, thats an eye sore hope whoever did that will compensate you for that mistake. ya i was just looking at some of the pics the previous owner of your bass sent me once and it looked fine to me which got me curious.
I’m sure the battle of compensation will come down to the cost.:rollno:
I was hoping it was a standard part but when I emailed Wal they said it was more of “each one is unique” type situation. This is what worries me.
