Thank god for the price tag. If it wasn't so low nobody here would've been suspicious about it. I talked to Joe about it and I guess the idiot that brought it in sold it to the shop for $500.I take it very personnel when someone f's with another Wal-nut!!!

Don't sell yourself short brother. Even if it wasn't intentional, had you not posted it no one would've known a thing. AND, this may lead to to person that took the rest...maybe he will recover them all because of this. You deserve more than a beer man.Well, I do like beer. But to be fair, it was you guys who are looking out for each other and paying attention. I never even thought to look in the stolen section...

Sorry- trying to do edits on my phone and screwing up the sequence... let's hope they do catch the people involved though. I temember reading Bryan Beller's hassles when his gear was stolen- super stressful.Don't sell yourself short brother. I can only imagine. I've never had gear stolen but I stress about it all the time. I hate gigging with my Wal, I'm always worrying about its whereabouts.Sorry- trying to do edits on my phone and screwing up the sequence... let's hope they do catch the people involved though. That's pretty rough. I'm surprised by the cost of some options. $1,000 for a gloss finish but only $400 for them to add non standard facings. It's also $230 to switch to black hardware. I'm surprised by such an upcharge just for a different color hardware set. I mean at the end of the day man it just depends if it's worth it to you. If you're already spending 9,000 and you're gonna have this bass the rest of your life is it worth another thousand to have the finish how you want it? Probably. You don't want to regret it later and you have plenty of time to pay it off. However, only you can decide if that cost is worth it to YOU.I'm finding it difficult to justify spending almost $1,000 alone for the body's clear gloss finish. Looks fantastic though. Would any of you say it's worth it?
It's brutal man...the price hikes have gone through the roof. I was on the fence with a new build awhile back and couldn't pull the trigger. Now...I wish I had haha. 6-7 grand awhile bck had me on the fence and in hindsight I should've done it. I got a quote two weeks ago and it solidified for me that I'm just gonna go used. Sure it won't look exactly how I want it to but that's not the biggest deal to me. I love my Wal and I can honestly say it's the best bass I've ever played but $10,000 for a new one? Can't do it. That's just me, tons of guys are doing it and that's great, it's just becoming obscenely expensive for a new build at this point in my opinion. I have a trade in the works for an MK3 5 string and I'll be happy with that. It won't be the exact finish I want but it'll be here right now and a fraction of the cost.Yeah it is approaching $1k, it's actually $875 with today's conversion. I was thinking I would place all the options possible as I'm sure it may be my only Wal. Everything else didn't seem to be so high given the respective work to be done. I'll have to wait and see when I visit Paul to be sure, it just seems excessive.
When all done I am guessing I'll spend $11.5k including tax and other charges. Wow must be nice to not have spent so much on this back then.
