Actually, it’s 19mm according to the older Wal brochures. I don’t believe that has changed.
I asked Paul what the specs are on newer 4 string bridges, he says it's 18mm. So, both are correct depending on which year the bass was manufactured.
Which reminds me....
If anyone has an old Mk2 or even Mk3 brochures they want to sell me?
I have a nice Mk1 brochure, and would love to make a complete set.

Right, I've got my 1991 Mk2 to measure, but I don't have any metric rulers or calipers so my measurements won't be precise.
From Paul, February 2018:
The standard 4 string target dimensions are as follows:
Neck width @ nut= 42.5mm/1.673'' and @ 24th fret = 61mm/2.402''
Neck depth(excluding fret height) @ 2nd fret =22mm/0.866” and @ 12th = 24.3mm/0.957”
Bridge saddle center spacing = 18mm/0.709”
Also, regarding solid cores, I just found this on the Wal website, Timbers page: Solid cores are also available on request.

Well that stinks.... I didn’t get a chance at it. What’s with all of the fretless mk1s going quick lately?
I have an older Mk1 and a Pro with one pickup. I just measured and it is 18mm at the bridge for both. Also I don't think Paul changed anything to the bridge. So then this brochure must be incorrect or Maybe 4 string Mk2's have 19mm and Mk1's have 18mm? Strange
I don't understand how different 4 string Wal models could have different string spacings at the bridge. They must all be 18mm, shouldn't they? It's not very complicated and I highly doubt Paul would be up for something inconsistent like that. The information I posted above was for a 4 string Mk2 btw.
