Personal taste, but I've always preferred satin finished Mk. Basses. However, my favourite Wals are the old gloss Pro basses

Well, I am so stoked. After dreaming for nearly a decade of one day owning a Wal, I have finally joined the wait list and just received my first spec sheet from Paul. Woooo !!

The Gotoh tuners and strange knobs kind of flummox me (although I get that the standard Wal knobs aren't really set up for stacking). Interesting strings with mixed silk colors, never seen that before. Wonder what the toggle switches do.

Definitely a great time for woodshedding fellow lockdown buddy! We'll ride this bug out. Life will become whatever it will be in the future. Right now the FedEx, UPS, and Purolator all know me by name...and the Canada Post Mailman waves at me! Lol! Most of you wouldn't believe how much money I've spent on shipping this year. I partially blame FedEx for offering the 6 month discount on new accounts for FedEx Express shipments right when the pandemic was fresh. It certainly got basses moving to other people from me very fast...but the tab really blew up. I had one unfortunate delivery with FedEx Express to Arizona that was supposed to take 2 business days and turned into 7.5 weeks! My worst experience in shipping ever...and they couldn't refund me so I got a basket of chocolates???
So what's next for 2021?
Hoping it won't top 2020!
