Any Wal lovers that are also Rush fans out there? If so, here’s a cover of Rush’s Dreamline that I did this evening with my 2017 "Geddy Spec” Mk1!

Nothing wrong with that. Perfectly normal and upstanding behaviours. Only the very best people do it that way!I might be... my avatar is a giveaway, isn’t it, and I’m certainly odd, I’m a lefty that plays bass right handed.

...some of the best advice I ever got as a 17 year old getting my first bass!Yeah my son is a lefty and when he became interested in guitar I started him on righties, I don't think he's ever played a lefty.
When I started playing bass in 86 my mom mentioned I was left handed to the salesman in the music store. Now I had never seen a left handed instrument at the time, of course the store didn't have a bass but the salesman brought a lefty guitar. I recoiled when I saw it, " no way in hell I can play that it doesn't look right" I was used to looking at all the bass and guitar players in Hit Parader and Circus magazine. For me, it was just natural, I can’t play lefty at all (even though I’m left handed).

Same with meFor me, it was just natural, I can’t play lefty at all (even though I’m left handed).
And with a Prodigy amp! Right on!!Feels good to be back in the saddle again! 3rd gig this year so far and played Georgie last night, even though his strings are 2 years old now.

Morning Walers.
I need to replace my 1986 MK I preamp and already contacted Wal (via Instagram, Whatsapp and email)
However they reply very slowly (I imagined that) and need to be sure about repairing / replacement the
preamp before shipping it to England.
What´s the most effective way to contact them?
Thanks
I have never seen them answer/reply on their social media pages, only direct emails.
I would simply remove and ship off the circut boards, they'll get ahold of you once it arrives.
But from several folks' recent accounts, it appears the international postal system is extremely slow right now. What used to be about a 2-half week turnaround seems to be taking 1 or more months in just shipping time.
Kulit made a couple of good videos on youtube of how to remove the preamp boards to ship, and reinstall when they're back.
