Most people these days associate Wals with Tool - I associate this particlar Wal with a tool.

Justin's tone in Tool is superb though.

Now if it had, like, Geddy Lee's autograph and he had played it...then maybe, MAYBE it would be worth half of what he's selling it for.
Besides, it's a Wal - handmade. THEY'RE ALL ONE OF A KIND!!!

I saw a MM that Flea had autographed and played for like 7 years, and recorded all the early RHCP albums on, AND he hand-wrote the certificate of authenticity being sold by Guitar Center to benefit charity. It was only $6500. Less than half this price.

What a bunch of garbage.
I feel sorry for the poor sap who buys it.

Sorry, it would have to be Geddy's personal #1 bass for me to even consider that kind of money...and even then I wouldn't pay that kind of money! For that matter, I could have a luthier build a great custom bass for $5K, offer Geddy $5K just to play it at a gig, spend $5K travelling to bring the bass, attend the gig, hang with him and get alot more out of the deal, eh? Of course, that's assuming he'd even do that kind of thing.

it's worth whatever you can get someone to pay for it, i wouldn't give more than 2000 for it. and a wal would only be worth that cause they're hard to come by

I just run around this auction on ebay... i've never played a wal bass, from what i read aound here they are great basses but i know nothing about them... still i believe the price on this one is ridiculous... tell me if i'm wrong...

prolly too late now.. but im tellin ya no bass is worth 15,000 if its not a colectors bass or a bass thats been played by some really famous bassist... so unless 1 of those two aply... its not worth buying it, by any means.
