Man, I saw that and thought, "If FF were here, I would just hand him a consolation beer. Wouldn't even have to say a word."USA Men's Track & Field 4x100 relay team blew it again!
I can't believe it happened again...
Breakdancing is questionable, for sure. That said, the clip I saw was more entertaining, and more suited for the Olympics, than the dancing horses being made to do what looks like their version of the Riverdance.I tried early on to watch the Mens Rugby 7's and NBC just kept screwing it up. Coverage of 1st quarterfinal didn't begin until almost half-time despite NBC's own published schedule. Bronze match coverage started with ~2.5 minutes left in the *game* - and it was a game that saw the Aussies (well, at least for those that actually *saw* it) get a red card and have to play 6-on-7. Not into basketball or beach volleyball (or skateboarding?) and as they appear to be the very biggest events, again based upon NBC's rah-rah coverage, I just haven't watched it since. Now I'm hearing that *break-dancing* is an Olympic sport? I honestly had to double check if it was some Onion or Onion-like joke story but, nope, it's a sport. I look forward to a future Olympics where "the dozens" is a sport. "Yo' country so fat when it sits around Europe, it sits AROUND Europe".
OK, back to shaking my fist at the squirrels on my lawn.
You'd think they would get it right by now, they have four years every cycle to practice it! But the US women came through, Sha'Carri Richardson pulled them from 3rd place to the gold!USA Men's Track & Field 4x100 relay team blew it again!

I'm not a fan of shootouts in any of the sports that use them (at least those I can think of, no doubt there may be exceptions). Also, finishing water polo matches with shootouts sucks. I watched the end of the women's US/Australia match, it's virtually impossible for the goalies to stop anything. Only after each team made like 6 in a row did one goalie make a lucky stab for a stop, and that won the match. Meh.
Show jumping is very elegant, but dressage is goofy.Breakdancing is questionable, for sure. That said, the clip I saw was more entertaining, and more suited for the Olympics, than the dancing horses being made to do what looks like their version of the Riverdance.
Oh, yes...I needed that!Somewhere, @FilterFunk is still beaming with joy after today's relay results.![]()
I imagined the men's team saw the 100, then held a team meeting at which the only thing said was:Oh, yes...I needed that!

Ready for Olympics to wrap on up. Watching NASCAR tonight! All they are talking about USA gold medals. Which is great. Next summer Olympics in LA, USA will win gold in everything You will find yourself pulling for other countries.
