War Tune!?!?

Hey Everyone,

I'm just looking for a song. I have no clue whats the title but it's like an old war chant. If you've seen the movie Jarhead...the only time i heard it was when the army is sitting in the movie watching the war movie and they're all chanting it. DA DA DAAA DUN DA DAA DAA DUN DAAADAAAA!!

Hahah you prob cant make that out...but does anyone know this chant? And if so...tab on guitar or bass?

It's kind of ironic that tune has been adopted by the US Army - thanks to Coppola..

As the Valkyries are an army of minor female deities, formed by Odin, charged with the responsibility of collecting all the valiant warriors fallen in battle in Midgard to bring them to sit beside Odin in Valhalla. They wear shining mailcoats and helms, carry the finest weapons and ride spirited flying horses.

Unless all those helicopter pilots were women....

I'll give you your due...that was amazing that you got that from Ben's post.

It wasn't from the DUm DUM part - it was from the fact that in Jarhead they were watching another war movie - Apocalypse Now - the famous helicopter scene - surely everybody knows this is a cult classic!!
