warm or cold?

Anyone ever notice that when your strings are cool like from transporting your bass, club temperatures, etc. that the strings tend to be slightly sharp?

Of course if you detune a bit, then play, they will be slightly flat after warming up.

(Certainly because metal contracts and expands)

SO the silly question of the week (requiring all sorts of silly answers) is.........how do you tune? Warm or cold?
