Warmoth neck strength

One more data point:

Bought a second-hand Warmoth bass in 1996. No idea how old it was at the time, but, as the setup was perfect when I got it, I did not adjust the trussrod then.
In 2004 I decided to "repurpose" the body for a different instrument, so I removed the Warmoth neck and stuck it on a shelf in my closet
...where it remained for the next eleven years!
Then in 2015 I got a new Warmoth body, attached this old Warmoth neck to it, strung it up, and have been using that bass fairly consistently since

And I still haven't had to touch the trussrod.

There's no hyperbole so far. My story is a custom Jazz with birdseye maple/rosewood neck. Built/assembled in early 90s. Never tweaked the neck since assembly.
I had an electronics issue recently which I didn't immediately address. The bass was hung up without strings for a few months (needed to take off bridge, so I'd left strings off). Fixed the problem, restrung, checked relief.....no change at all. Actually took down the action a little from where it used to be.

Reading through this topic, I think I'm settled on building a Warmoth '64 jazz bass replica for my next bass. My main issue with my current Fender is that the neck isn't stable enough for the strings that I use, and I've been looking for a place that sells solid bass necks.

All these stories about not having to tweak the truss rod have got me all giddy. I've had to fool about with mine about three times in the last year and though I love the feel of it, the maintenance is a PITA. I think I'll leave this one at home and make the Warmoth my main gig'er if everything works out.

However, I am a bit curious - if I go with graphite rods in a standard taper jazz bass neck (maple/rosewood), is it similar to my RW neck or is it more of a different feel?

If you really want a bass neck you won't have to mess with at all, get a Moses Graphite or similar, the CF necks don't react to normal changes in humidity or temperature, the downside being heavy weight in some cases. I don't think the CF rods in the Warmouth "Superbass" necks add any thickness to the neck, but check their specs online. I used 2 CF rods and one DA trussrod in my Ric clone build, so far a very stable neck, but I can't say how much is due to the CF rods.
