How the heck did yours not get held up like mine did?

Mine is rescheduled for Monday, but it looks like it may already be on the way to the local hub. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

EDIT: UPS just updated the tracking info and the body will be here tomorrow!! Woo Hoo!!

Not sure I ever posted this here, new guy on the left is Warmoth Alder P in Olympic White from TB and a Maple/Rosewood neck direct from Warmoth. On the right is my late 80's Warmoth Swamp Ash P with a BirdsEye/Rosewood neck. The twins both have active EMGs.

Man, in 1988, I built the almost identical bass to your late 80's bass. Double P, swamp ash, active EMG's from the 70's, and black hardware. Ebony board though. I like the shape of the bodies then more than now...the bottom horn was more slender. Not so bulbous.

I've used linseed oil before with good results.I saw the bore oil mentioned here and wanted to give it a try.The bore oil is thin so I just worked some in with my fingertip.The bore oil worked fine we'll see what it looks like in a week or twn the plus side that small bottle should be at least a 100 year supply.
