Hey guys, it arrived today; here it is!

There was a very small "dent"
there was no damage to the box so I guess it happened at Warmoth...

I guess that's what the delay was about... Good thing I'm using a pickguard so it can't be seen!

So far so good..

Anyone out there with a rear routed body care to share which pots they used?

It's like that perfect mix between my other 2 basses. More aggressive than the P-Bass but less "clanky" than my Stingray. Also, it's not as heavy as I thought it would be with the 9lb shipping weight (yikes!), I would say it's around 8.5lbs altogether.

Just getting back into the club with this beast! I've been looking for one of those old Big 5 necks for a while, so now to consider whether to strip and refinish or not. Also, some lightweight tuners might help the tiniest bit, since this thing weighs a ton and has a bit of neck dive...

Had to change the bridge for intonation purposes:

The American Standard HiMass Vintage Bridge does NOT retrofit the Badass III rout from Warmoth

I learned the hardway

I think if you want a Fender compatible bridge then you get the Gotoh 201 bridge route. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

This is correct. I did this and have a Fender HiMass Vintage bridge on my Warmoth Jazzmaster bass.

I have a Bubinga with fretless ebony and it's an incredibly stable neck.
