Thank you! Fretwork seems fine, no rough edges unlike my Warmoth wenge neck which needed a bit of rounding over of the fret ends (great neck otherwise!). I haven't noticed any high spots. All in all it was ready to play.
I’ve rounded over every Warmoth neck that I’ve got, and worked on the fret ends. But, the new necks didn’t seem to need any leveling, which is a huge plus!

Yes, the wiring system is pretty cool because you don't need to drill loads of holes in your bass for those mini switches that are sometimes hard to find with long enough threads to fit the thickness of the bass's top -if you're using a control panel on your Jazz I guess that becomes less of a problem, but I figure the less clutter on a bass the better -right?
The circuit I designed myself a couple of years ago and sometimes needs slight tweaking depending on the wire colour schemes for the pickups you wish to use. I'll send you some close up photos of another similar bass to show you what goes where tomorrow wired to a Nordstrand MM pickup.
As for the pots, they are CTS push / pull 500k and they can be bought from eBay or from Stewart MacDonald. These ones have solid 1/4" shafts but you can find them more readily with splined shafts -in that case you can always put those brass sleeve adaptor rings over them and convert them to 'solid shaft' if needed.

Closing in on joining this club. Have to do the wiring, install the jack and plate, and put the strings on later tonight. Check it through the amp to make sure I didn’t royally screw up, and then start setup with nut height and rolling on from there.

I placed a custom order for it on Dec. 4th 2020...Pretty decent turn around time for a custom order..6 weeks
I'm waiting on my neck to come in so I can start assembly. It should be shipping in the next week or so! It was supposed to be a 30th birthday present to myself last July, but some things came up
Put everything together...and no sound through the amp. I must have messed up something in the wiring, but have no idea what. Stripped all the pots and jack out to des older everything and have another go, while connecting and soldering the parts on a cardboard template, to give me more working room. Damn. I’m so close, and stopped while I figure this out.
I reshaped my short scale warhead headstock yesterday and test fitted the tuners. I also received my short scale roasted swamp ash body today and I am more than thrilled with how it turned out..Love the grain and the weight for the body is 3.8lbs and the neck is 2.2lbs ...Should still be fairly light after assembled

Yes it just the Warmoth Clear Satin finish...no tint...I went with the reverse P route also. Love how it looks close to Walnut but way lighter

Yes, it was a custom order sight unseen but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Plus I could not find a blank short scale Roasted Swamp ash in the in-stock bodies
