I have been watching the showcase for almost the last year and I have only seen one roasted swamp ash short scale and it came and went in minutes.Yes, it was a custom order sight unseen but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Plus I could not find a blank short scale Roasted Swamp ash in the in-stock bodies

Yesterday I installed the Luminlay side dots and applied my logo. now I'm just adding about 6 coats of Tru-Oil on the face of the headstock to protect the logo...Turning out good so far
Just finished this today. My first! Black Korina body/maple neck. Ordered both unfinished and did a transparent black to clear burst on the body. Finished with tung oil. 32” scale, Labella low tension flats, Steve Harris signature pickup.
So far I’m LOVING it. Turned out exactly as I envisioned and it plays amazing.

I didn’t realize how deep into the body the 32” scale necks sat.
It doesn't look that much different than a normal scale.
The extended fretboard makes it look like it’s set deeper. But, I just did a side by side pic comparison and the shortie does have very close to the same fret access as a 34” scale.
When I read your comment and looked at that photo, I just happened to have a (non-Warmoth) precision body sitting three feet away from me. Proportionally, it looked similar enough for me to not notice an obvious difference.
Thats the one! I have a roasted maple neck on order (fretless-we will see if I regret that decision) and I think it would look nice with the roasted ash body. The intent is to let this be a long term project as I have plenty of basses to play. Hopefully It's not another year until they post the next one!

I got the shipping notification for my medium scale neck yesterday!
So did I. Also a medium scale. For anyone trying to figure out the current lead time, I ordered on December 10th. Roasted maple medium scale Warhead neck. Anyone need the short scale Warmoth tiltback roasted neck it's replacing? It haven't decided if I'm going to build something else or liquidate. PM me if you want to help me decide, lol.
Dropped off my Warmoth neck and body to the Luthier last night for final assembly and set up. Should have back in a week or two...Excited for this one 
I wish I had all my parts on hand to put together a physical mockup like that. All I can do is make digital comps while I wait for my parts to arrive.

I received my new 32" scale neck and put it on yesterday. I'll give it a week or so to settle with strings on it, and see if I can make any required adjustments. If not I'll take it for a setup, but I'm less confident in my local shop after a bad experience with both of their techs.
So far I'm fairly sure the move from short scale to medium was right for me though.

That Warhead headstock design is really well done. I wish they offered it on 34" necks.

Is that roasted?? It looks great! Honestly, one thing that keeps me from roasted necks is that they get so dark!
It is roasted, with no added finish. The body is roasted swamp ash, but with a clear matte finish.
I wanted to add that the neck is a little darker than lit ooks near the headstock in that picture. I had to use a flash on my phones camera. The color near the heal is closer to what it looks like in person.
