Warmoth Owners Club!!

If you're not in a big hurry, I'd recommend locking for a trade. That's a beautiful neck. The right person with a good neck for you is bound to be out there.
Ok. I'll start here. I'd like to trade this neck for a 1.75", maple or wenge, 7.25-9.5 radius P neck. Think MIM classic 60s, Fender roadworn, Fender Vintura Classic 50s, etc. I'm sure there are 9 Jazz neck aficionados for every wideP neck fan :)

I didn't know there was a Warmoth Club. Got this together about a year ago.

I got the black korina body from a generous TBer who lives in my area for the ridiculous price of $10. The body was already finished with Tru Oil and shielded. It even came in the original Warmoth box with the invoice.

I did a custom order for the neck:

Jazz neck with the 1 5/8" nut option

Unfinished roasted maple

Ebony fretboard

Vintage small stainless frets

Graphite rods

Moonglow side dots

Schaller tuners

Gotoh bridge

Pickups wound by a friend View attachment 4942823

Plays and sounds great. I usually like satin finish on my necks, but unfinished roasted maple is like silk. I love the feel.

That’s a great looking Jazz. I love the grain and tint of the the black korina body. Great sounding tone wood too.

Definitely put it in the TB classified ads for trade. I had a RW P-bass with the 1.75 wide bench and would have traded in a heartbeat (ended up selling it and getting a Player P-bass).
Someone will definitely want to trade.

NBD for me - Warmoth short scale Jazz bass. Got it from my friend here halfwound121.

Delano pickups with concentric pots.

Why does this looks tiny? Maybe it’s just me.

Man, I've been dreaming about doing a Mooncaster bass lately. I've heard so many great things about the TV Jones pickups. I'm pretty sure I could do the screwing but I'm all thumbs with wires.
If you are proximate to a metro area, you should be able to hire someone to wire up a bass at a pretty reasonable price. It's not a big job for someone with experience.

I've been GASing for a Mooncaster as well. Here is the one I'd like:
