Deluxe 5 neck ordered with a 1 3/4" nut width, is very similar. Fender spec'ed at 18mm string spacing as well. I think the Stingray is almost identical.
I think the MM is 2.75" at the heel and the Warmoth is 2.9. I could be wrong though. I should play some fender basses and see what they feel like. Problem is they are all upside down. At least for me.
will Warmoth add a pickup route to a body in the showcase? there's an ash P body that i can't take my eyes off, but i kinda want a P/J. I'm sure they'll do it, just wondering what they might charge
I just bought a new killer swamp ash body from warmoth and i have a question.
Can i use an 18mm string spacing at the bridge?
It's a five string deluxe body.
Here's a picture, sorry if it's a bog picture, i'm doing a test on my new galaxy tab and the talkbass app.

Doug Parent said:yes the deluxe 5 is designed around the Fender spec 18mm. you have 3 holes pre-drilled for the bridge, do you know which bridge?
When i bouth the body, I asked it to be drilled for a Hipshot type A bridge.
The bass will be finished with tru-oil. It will be fretless, probably with a pau ferro fingerboard. I will order the neck probably this week.

I love her like she was one of my prize G&L's.
