I used this virtual tone pot again and it sounds freaking killer , it does indeed have a stingray vibe , kinda nasally but ballsy and clear . I dig it big time and it's way better than I could have hoped for . I'll try to track it this weekend ,

Have you tried skipping the virtual tone control altogether? I'd be interested in your impression of that same setup without any tone modification at all.

Oh yes, what is that neck wood? Padouk or bubinga? Or something else?

That is Padouk . No I have not but on the few I have done before without it the highs were way to extended for me , sounds like noise up there to me .

My first Warmoth build is complete! Woohoo!

(Actually, it has been complete for a month. I just finally got around to taking pictures.)

Warmoth Jazz body (alder, with wenge thumbrests)
Warmoth Jazz neck (bubinga, with wenge fretboard)
Schaller tuners
Schaller bridge
Schaller straplock pins
Fender Super 55 split-coil humbucking pickups
Custom electronics package from Michael at [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
D'Addario rounds

And it sounds fantastic!

Hipshot A has 4 mounting holes and Warmoth doesn't offer that configuration. Gotoh 201 has 5 (fender standard, Badass II, Babicz), and Schaller 463 and Badass III have 3 mounting holes.

There is a Fender-compatible 3-hole Hipshot A bridge. If you haven't already bought your A, you can get the 3-hole version and have Warmoth pre-drill the holes for you.
