Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of putting together a short scale bass from Warmoth, and I'm wondering if anyone here has done it, and if so, how they've liked the results.
I would probably be going for the Jazz bass shape, but I'd like a P in the neck and a J in the bridge. Has anyone tried this from them before? If so, does the P rout seem to be in the ideal position tonally, seeing as how it's short scale? How about the short neck? Has that proven to be good?
I'm wanting to get a short scale, and I'm sort of guessing this would be a higher-quality route than going with a new Mustang. Does that seem right? I've never owned a short scale before, so I feel a bit lost on this...
Thanks for the help!
