Warmoth Suggestions!

I thought you liked Ebony though?

Rosewood really isn't the best fingerboard material because it's not very durable. Were you going to use flats on this bass like on your P bass, or were you going to use roundwounds?

I love ebony, but I dont want to limit myself to it seeing Im still semi new to fretless. If its not my thing, Ill trade it off or sumfin! :D

How about something like this with a J pickup? It's a carved P bass body which I'm assuming is meant for bass guitar.....

Im not a fan of the "dinky" bodies from Warmoth.

Okay.. Im think Im set on getting a Jazz bass body, but now I need to decide on:

Paint?
Showcase body?
Natural body with a top and oil/lacquer finish?

If paint, or burst, what should I get?
Pickups? PJ? PMM? JMM? JPJ? HH?

I have been wanting a Jazz bass, so its kinda obvious to me now.

And no black! I hate black bass bodies.

It looks like Ill be selling my current neck now instead of trading it.

Now it comes down to, buy a Warmoth bass, or save for a few months and get an Atkinson which I have longed for for a long while now.

Yes, but now that the neck is gone and not traded Im having second thoughts about the project. I was basing the project around not having to buy a new neck, but now that that would be necessary Im thinking maybe Ill just buy a whole new bass come my birthday.

Or start building it then.

I guess well see when the time comes. Im loving the suggestions though guys! Keep em coming!
