I'd be pretty wary of that builder too. He obviously knows outta the same bass he sent a dealer. He absolutely should be holding up the warranty, not the finish flaw, but the upcoming possible warranty issues.

I had my local guy, who is very skilled, repair the finish perfectly for $75.
I tend to agree. Surine has few, if any, basses publicly for sale through dealers. It’s hard to believe Surine wasn’t aware that a dealer was selling a flawed/pre-owned bass as new. I’m guessing it was advertised on the BSW site?I'd be pretty wary of that builder too. He obviously knows outta the same bass he sent a dealer. Remember: three sides to every story- yours, mine, and the truth.Good to know, I'll surely avoid them. Just makes me miss great stores, like Bass NW, that much more.
I looked at the photo first and thought.... "must be a very minor flaw, I can't see it at all"I was floored when I unpacked it. The flaw was so obvious.

This is nothing but false and misleading information buyer this buyer 100% false and misleading. I don't use TB much but was made aware of this by another TB user. Although this was posted in 2005 Im now seeing this and will not lower my standards to trash this buyer. I can say that I have sold basses world wide and never had any issues. This buyer unfortunately had buyers Remorse after buying a hand build boutique bass. If any one has any further questions feel free to email me at [email protected] Thanks to all of you
Exactly...If all this spamming is any indication how you run your business and interact with people, I think I'll believe the OP.

You might want to at least proofread a message you intend to spam multiple times within a thread.
And what are you talking about 2005? This thread was started this morning.
