I actually received a damaged 2500 € bass three weeks ago. I am having a very civil discourse with the store about it, because we are all adults. Read my thread about it („Warwick FNA Jazzman“) if you are interested.

I could care less. And it’s not an equivalent scenario. I received the bass with a manufacturing defect that wasn’t disclosed. Not the same as shipping damage.

I have seen those photos but the question is where and how did you receive them? It's not on the dealer listing or Reverb. Was it sent directly to you by the dealer, or maybe the manufacturer ? I think that's what we're trying to understand.

Right. Anyone could whip up those photos in Photoshop or similar in a few minutes. There's nothing to indicate where they came from; they are just screen shots of photos on the OPs phone. I would have a lot more confidence in the OP if these photos were traceable to one of the dealer's posts or visibly attached to an email from the dealer, but to the best of my ability to determine, they aren't. I'm not saying the OP is wrong, but it's not a point of evidence I'm willing to consider here.

This has been quite entertaining.

For me, the biggest question is why is Surine associated with a "dealer" who sells online out of his apartment? What's the point of that? Especially when its a guy who can barely communicate and has now been shown to be not entirely forthright, at best.
