Oh! I've lusted for that one a few times. Just missed going for it when Ricky had it and then I saw recently that Danny had it. I assume that you snagged it from Danny.

Here's a better pic of the body that shows the black limba between the walnut and alder. I went with a 3-piece body (Burl walnut/Black Limba/alder). I thought that would transition better between the walnut top and alder body.

How is everyone. I have a question; how is the customer service on Warrior? I send emails and call them, and no one have answer or contact me. I just bought a used bass, well it is almost a new bass as it is about 5-month-old, this bass has some serious fret issue between 8-10 frets. The G-string don't sound at all and other strings it buzzes incredibly. I have loosened the tension on the truss rod and adjusted the bridge saddles from low action to very high and nothing fixes this problem, for me it is unplayable since I can only play between 1-7 and 11-24 frets. In all my 25+ years playing bass, I have never seen this problem. It is really disappointing, as I was ready to play it at my Church today.

Hey Otto. I've had nothing but great response from JD and his sons over the last 1-1/2 years.
I'll PM you JD's and Dran's cell numbers. Maybe you're calling a number that isn't currently monitored and I'm not too sure about how monitored their email is. As for the neck, I see that you're in Texas. I'm sure that the humidity is quite bad there. Have you adjusted the relief to the neck properly since it arrived? If the neck is too straight or slightly back bowed that'll certainly cause the issue that you're describing. I've got two new Warriors, and both respond wonderfully to adjustments to the dual action truss rod. Since the truss rod is a dual action truss rod, when it gets to the center position, continue turning counterclockwise and it'll start adding relief (once it gets out of the neural area.).

After a lot of assistance from JOME77, I was able to set up the bass correctly. No one form Warrior contacted me, which is sad, but anyway. It's an awesome bass. Unfortunately, due to my back problem I have to let it go. If anyone is looking for an amazing Warrior, I have the 2025 Warrior Dran Michael fully loaded.
